SYMPTOMS

Inflammation on bottom of foot due to strained ligament.

Pain with the first few steps in the morning or after a period of sitting. 

Pain in heel after exercise but not during.

A burning or ache on the bottom of the foot extending outward from the heel.

Stiffness within heel. 

Pain increase over a period of months.

TREATMENT

Discuss activity related to your condition.

EXAMINE, PALPATE AND PERFORM MOTION EXERCISES TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF DEFORMITY.

perform gait analysis or observe your feet and legs throughout the walking cycle.

Stretching and strengthening exercises or using special devices may relieve symptoms.

Exercises may be implemented to stretch the plantar fascia and achilles tendon.

Wearing a night splint may be advised to stretch your calf and arch of your foot.

WE WILL LOOK AT FOOT PADDING AND FOOTWEAR TO RELIEVE PAIN.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication MAYBE advised.

Once analysed the treatment could include wearing an orthotic for support
